Our Coffee Fellowship

We serve coffee, tea, punch and biscuits in the Hearth Room immediately following the Sunday morning service. The coffee fellowship is hosted by volunteers and we require two people per Sunday.
Instructions for Coffee Fellowship Hosts

Please bring with you two litres or 1 bag of homo or 2% milk. Instructions are on Hearth Room wall and supplies are in the lower cabinet beside the trays.

Arrive by 10:00am to allow time for the preparation.

You will need the following supplies:
- 65 mugs (in cupboards)
- plastic glasses for punch (in cupboards above the sink)
- 2 pitchers(cupboard above sink or or lower cupboard)
- 2 teapots (cupboards above sink)
- 1 large coffee percolator (on counter)
- 2 stove top kettles or electric kettle on counter or stove.

Set up the large centre table for coffee and tea and table near the kitchen for punch. Use table cloths found in the kitchen drawers.

Set out on large table 65 mugs, a few serviettes, tray of spoons, 2 sugar bowls.

Set out on punch table a tray of plastic glasses.

Fill percolator with cold water to the 55 cup mark, add 3 cups (227 grams) of coffee and plug it in and flick the ON switch before you go in to the service. It takes 3/4 hour.
- Fill kettles with water and put on stove at medium - low (4) heat. It should come to a boil during the service.

Please dilute 2 tins of frozen punch or lemonade (found in the freezer) into pitchers. For each tin of punch add 4 tins of cold water.

Prepare 3 plates of cookies.

Leave the service before the last hymn. Make 2 pots of tea (3 bags per pot).

Pour coffee into yellow carafes (above sink).

Put out the punch, cookies and small pitchers of milk.

Pour tea and coffee.

When all have been served clean up and put everything away. If the table cloths or tea towels are soiled, please take them home, wash them and return them to the kitchen.
